Service Communications of Acadiana, the only Woman-Owned Two-Way-Radio dealership in Louisiana, has been serving the Acadiana area for more than 25 years. Led by husband and wife team, Hunter and Rachel Romero, Service Communications proudly serves hundreds of companies and homeowners by providing the latest in communication technology available on the market today.
Service Communications was founded in April 1994 by Mr. and Mrs. Keith and Beanie Hendrick for the purpose of providing solutions for their clients’ communication problems to bring peace of mind and prosperity to their homes, businesses, and workplaces through innovative communication systems.
With an in-depth knowledge of the communications industry, emphasizing client satisfaction, and by keeping abreast of the rapidly evolving technology, they built a successful company by matching each client’s individualized communication needs with the industry’s latest two-way radio technology.
In 2001, Rachel Romero joined the growing team at Service Communications as a receptionist and became an integral part of the business. In 2014, after Keith Hendrick’s untimely passing, Rachel and her husband, Hunter, purchased Service Communications with the heartfelt desire to carry on the legacy that the Hendricks had built.
In anticipation of future growth in 2018, Service Communications relocated to 100 Henderson Road in Lafayette, Louisiana. Now, as the No. 1 Hytera Family Dealer in Louisiana, the Service Communications team continues to provide personalized service and innovative business solutions to all its customers, both old and new.
